There has been a lot of discussion regarding the fireball and  
relevent application to hi impedence usage (with amps, etc).

To address this, AUDIX has come up with a high impendence transformer  
so that the FIREBALL ( or any low impedance mike) can be used with  
any high impedence imput. One of the highlights of this product is  
that it is not a straight line device (compared to the typical radio  
shack transformer) but has a 3.5 inch belkin style black rubber cable  
between the two ends to eliminate the strain relief that normally  
accompanies the straight line transformers.
