Re: [Harp-L] Sitting In Stories
after reading those sit in stories, a few things stuck out to me... now
of course individual style, taste, situation and the moment will impact
anything... IMHO, these are some selected pearls of wisdom from the sit
in stories:
Ken M - Bob says: "... This party is his wake." - that's the way to go
out
Dan - rod Piazza says: "cut out that fast stuff"
Winslow w/ Muddy - "Then he launches into something else all of a
sudden... I realize that it's Juke" (the moral - if you play blues,
learn Juke)
Richard Hunter w/ War - "There are not many second chances in life."
John OB - Andy (?) says: "play who you are"
dmf273 - Taj says: " you should use more chords and octaves "
Rob P w/Julian Lennon & Johnny B. Goode- "You never know who's out
there!,-)"
THere's got to be something in that WBee meets Del McCoury story, but
its tough to narrow down.
Good stories. Nice thread, Ken.
Jim.
