Re: [Harp-L] Re:How we learned diatonic harmonica

My brother bought me a harp in the early seventies as a gift and in the box
it showed how to lip block and play a few basic songs. I was hooked and would
sift through all the 45 rpm records for harmonica music. I would try to copy
all of it. Then I went to the music store and found a book with a plastic
record in it. It was Sony Terry's song book. The blues was then all I could
listen to. I bought all the albums in the used bins at the stores and played and
played. I wish there was Harp L back then, I may have been a contender.
