[Harp-L] Re: Thank You... From a Popper Protege Looking For



For what it's worth, John Popper cites Jimi Hendrix as his primary 
influence, with no hesitation.  I don't think he sounds anything like 
Hendrix, but he does play with the speed and energy needed for mainstream 
rock music.  And I think it's refreshing to hear a harp player cite an 
influence other than a horn player or another harp player.
