I was hanging around a college campus here in southern California and saw a " flyer " on my car window saying " John Sebastian " here one nite only in the mid 70's . It was free so I go expecting to see John Sebastian from the " Lovin Spoonfull " as I loved the way he played both diatonic & chromatics .

To say I was surprized is an understatement maybe even a little dissapointment  -- but - -

After I heard this man ( John Sebastian sr. ) I knew just why I liked his son so much .

Not always a son follows so closely in their father's footsteps like John jr does . I envy them both and love them as much for the enjoyment they have brought into this sometimes sad and violent world with beautiful and soul inspiring soundscapes .
