Hello Pierre,
So here is my question, I've heard lots of walking baselines ove the
years,
but what am I hearing? how does one do this? is it just arpeggios? can it
be
scaled base?
Both, as far as I know. I'm not a bass player but sometimes imitate walking
lines on piano.
Are there any free or $$$ resources for learning this at a basic
level?
Marc Sabatella has some information on this on his excellent (free) site:
http://www.outsideshore.com/primer/primer/ms-primer-6-2.html#WalkingBassLines
I hope that helps,
Eugene
