Hi Steve,
Hohner solved the oxidation problem a long time ago, this shouldn't be a
concern for you now. The aluminium comb is chrome plated so that the
galvanic oxidation which happened between the aluminium and the reedplates
is avoided. By the way, the oxidation, which was in any case a big problem,
was never hazardous, since aluminium oxide is quite a stable material, even
used in tooth paste.
