One man's bickering is another man's conversation. I think that Pierre
nailed it, people read their own stuff into what other people write. If
everyone agreed on everything there' be no purpose for a discussion list, a
web page would do. I don't detect malice, and think the list is quite
friendly. Posting isn't scary, I feel free to opine and others feel free to
disagree. That's good, gives me more to consider.
People come and go, I don't really think that the occasional someone getting
offended and departing the list is cause for action. If the place were any
more civilized, everyone would leave from boredom. One upon a time there was
a man, a boy and a donkey....
