[Harp-L] harp choice

     Hey T. (Albanese) ,
                                         i 'm not
familiar w/the song you
were wrestling with but I think you came up w/a
reasonable
solution .Ending up in 2nd pos. is always comfortable
for
us "blues guys". The thing you might consider is Emin
on
your C harp yields an F natural ; not a great note
unless
you're really into the phrygian modality .(Not a
biggie in most
pop genres). My suggestion for a one harp choice is
fairly
logical : G maj and Emin are relative keys so use your
G
Maj. diatonic . Play 4th pos. (now you can get an F#)
for Emin. and 1st pos. for G Ma (a great key for this
pos. w/its beefy
low notes and screaming high octave bends ) . Just a
suggestion off the top of my head . It's always fun to
experi-
ment .
                                    Chris "Hammer"
Smith
