I called Hohner recently to order plates for a 270 and asked if Hohner had
plans to make a plastic core for the 270, and they said no. Such a core with
screws to attach reed plates would make this a top class harp with a
reasonable price. Glen
You have that right, Glen! The Farrell plastic-combed 270 was such a harp
but, sadly, Farrell went out of business.
Even if they had such plans, Hohner (or any business) would not announce an
upgrade until they were ready to produce and supply it in quantity. They
would not want buyers to delay their purchases waiting for it.
