Re: Subject: [Harp-L] jason ricci @ terra 9/15/05 review
Hey, you may have missed each other, but at least you were there! Jerks
;)
Yeah, I'm also with Elizabeth on being inducted through 11/11/04. I'd
never heard of JRNB before December. I still remember being annoyed at
how long the first track took to download on my lame dialup connection -
I almost aborted the download but got distracted by something and forgot
completely about it. An hour later, there was the song on my computer,
and the rest is, as they say, an almost unhealthy minor obsession for a
grown professional man............... not since East Cost Summer Tour
'91, and the 9/91 Boston Garden shows, dude!...........
ahem.
Mexicali is still the shiznit, despite all of the recent additions
(let's hear it for Garry, Dave, etc,), though I finally heard the third
cd of Sweeney's Station with Mr. Gussow (I'm nasty). The last track
where they jam together.....OH MY FRIKKIN GOD.........
Right. I have a wife and children and papers to grade. Stop distracting
me, people!

i'm just glad that JR supports the whole taping thing. it's a great
thing. we get all these great tunes, and hopefully he gets greater
exposure and bigger audiences.

well, then, it worked. the whole point is to introduce new people
to his music.
