Any Pigpen fans on the list should definitely view the DVD "Festival Express" which chronicles the
1970 Cross-Canadian train tour of the Grateful Dead, The Band, Janis Joplin, The Flying Burrito
Bros, Buddy Guy and Sha-Na-Na. Professionally filmed with multiple cameras, this is probably
the best footage you'll ever see of Pigpen doing his thing with the Dead. There's also some
pretty amazing footage of Janis, Jerry and Rick Danko jamming together.
