I've been the curator of "The Dobie Pages" http://home1.gte.net/res09cc9/index.html since way back
when the internet was still in its infancy. I wanted to create a website, back when the internet
was new, and since I had a huge collection of Dobie memorabilia that I'd begun saving when I was
kid, I decided to scan some of it and put it online. Before I could blink, I started getting
calls from Dwayne Hickman, Bob Denver, Max Shulman's estate, TV-Land, TV-Guide, ABC-News and
like it or not, I was now considered the "world's leading authority" on all things Dobie. I kind
of lost interest in that position back in 2002, but now with Bob Denver's passing, I find I'm
getting all sorts of e-mails again.
