[Harp-L] Pro Jr & Les Paul Jr.
I've used a Pro Jr for the many gigs in the last 6 years.
I did switch out the tubes for NOS, and use one 12AU7 and one 12AT7
instead of the 12AX7s. I have no problem getting tone or volume.
I've used pedals and a PODXT with this amp, too.
It's not a tone machine, but it's fine...and has stood up to the rigors
of being bounced in and out of the car, vans, venues, etc.
I also own an original Gibson Les Paul Jr...which I love for quiet
gigs and practice. I sometimes play sideman to acoustic singer-
songwriters
and have used this in house concerts when there is little else amplified
to get a nice, warm, crunchy tone at low volumes. I either use this
straight
up or with just a delay pedal. 8 inch oval Utah speaker...white
leatherette handle...
dirty blond tolex...I dig it.
