Try using a quick/short/sharp impulse exhale attack for these 4 and 5 hole OB's. It should come from deep down in the diaphragm. Once the attack is successful, keep the steady exhale to sustain the note. Don't forget that the OB will usually come in on the flat side - you have to adjust upwards, pulling them into tune by placement of the curve created in the tongue.
I can't explain this "curve created in the tongue" any better through typing. This stuff is easier to work out one-on-one w/competent teacher than from reading off the "L".
