Electronic keyboards are so common nowadays and so
good; do any of them have some sort of temperament
function? 12-TET has in part been necessary because
its difficult to be equipped with 12 indivudual Just
intoned grand pianos. (Touring with them is especially
cumbersome.)
With everything digitized it should be easy to have a
keyboard that can switch on the fly. Then we can play
our Just harps and get along fine.
What other instruments are of necessity 12-TET (ie.
impractical to stock one for each key)?
Paul
