[Harp-L] Fills--and Horns

Early on, I spent a lot of time playing  harp along with a three-man horn 
section--sometimes as one "voice" in that  section, sometimes playing lines that 
snaked in and out of it.  It was an  incredible education in the art of the 
fill.  Anyone looking for insights  on playing fill would do well to listen to 
King Curtis, Fred Wesley, Maceo  Parker and The Memphis Horns, among others, to 
absorb the way that great brass  players do it.
