Hey list - anyone have any experience with the Hohner 220 Trumpet Call
harmonica? It's the one with the 5 trumpet-like extensions mounted to the
harp. From the harp depot website, the marketing description says: The 5
trumpets amplify the sound to an amazing degree, and wind savers are used in
the harmonica itself to make the instrument super responsive. Being a double
reeded instrument (2 reeds tuned 1 full octave apart sound at once) further
enhances the Trumpet Calls big, loud, full accordion sound. This harmonica
is great for Gospel, Folk, Zydeco and Cajun music.
I'm thinking of getting one for a few jug band tunes. Thanks for any real
world experiences.
