yes, true, but there was also Jonathan's question:

Charles, I am using a George Dennis volume pedal for some years now and
I am very satisfied with it. It is mono and it doesn't add effects to
the sound nor does it make the sound thinner or so...and I like this way
of volume control better than the volume knob directly at the mic.
