[Harp-L] New Roots Harmonica Playlist
Hi All
After a long Summer of more pressing obligations (sorry), I've got a new
playlist for Roots Harmonica. Plans to create elaborate scheduling and
"niche" days have been scrapped and you'll find the show becoming even more
eclectric with the addition of more amplified classic blues (with an
emphasis on rarity), current players of all kinds (more later this month),
and country (as the digitizing project continues).
Almost all new stuff this playlist still with a lot of Old Time, Jug Band,
Pre-War country and Blues, and a little Cajun, etc. This playlist features
the elusive Artelus Mistric, rare early vinyl from William Clarke, George
Smith, Deford Bailey, Wayne Rainey, Little Walter, rare Little Walter with
Muddy, more from Dave Rice's latest great CD, Bluegrass from PT Gazell and
Mike Stevens (as sideman), Scottish & Irish from Brendan Power, Steve Shaw
and Tony Eyers and a whole bunch of other surprising stuff. Still dial-up
friendly. Come give a listen. And for those who may have given up recently
"Welcome Back"
All the Best,
Staggerin' Jim
