[Harp-L] JohnSebastian Jr
Just remembered--the first time I realized that John Sebastian Jr.
was a real ahrp player was on an LP that was essemtially outtakes of
up and coming your musicians. The Lovin Spoonfull was the best know
band on the record. There were a couple of Butterfield tracks on it
too. I was knocked out a) that the Spoonful did blues ( I know the
bands name is a blues reference), and b0 that Sebastian could hold
his own side by side with Butterfield.

it or not. He did a solo act, singing and playing guitar, but he finished
with Night Owl Blues. It blew me away. That song grabbed me and
wouldn't let go.
I agree with harpgawd that it stands the test of time and then some. I don't
hear harp like that anywhere these days.
