Just check where the jam on the last day is being held, they encourage audiences for that. Introduce yourself to Jon while you're there. I wouldn't go hanging around the hotel while the jamp camp is going on, it will come off like you're trying to crash it, haha.
Usually the jam on the last day is at the hotel bar but could be in a nearby watering hole. If your wife won't let you spring for the whole camp (which is cheap since you live nearby! don't you have something you can sell to get the cash?), maybe you can arrange to get some private lessons with some of the great instructors who will be there while they are in town.
