You ask Don why he's narrowly defining himself in 1st position and then tell him to narrowly define himself in 2nd position.  There are twelve harp positions and most of the best players play in several positions or all of them (Howard Levy).  Maybe Don should give 2nd a shot and you should give 1st a shot, eh?

Jason Ricci plays mostly in 1st position.  Download one of his shows (free) and see if you think it's just for variety.
