It has just been pointed out to me that I was incorrect when I wrote that 
Pinetop Perkins has passed on. Pinetop Perkins, piano giant, is very much alive 
and in fact has gigs listed way into next year on his website. I must say that 
I am very happy that I am wrong but I apologize to the members of the list and 
to anyone else whom I might have offended as I should have checked the 
information myself before posting it.
