[Harp-L] Chromatic vs. Sax

A question to folks that play both chromatic and sax.....

After playing diatonic for a long time, guitar for about 10 years, and chromatic for a couple of years (finally playing chro in all keys), I'm thinking of getting a tenor sax.  

For blues, jazz, R&R, R&B, etc. -  what are the differences in the way you do a tune on sax vs. the way that you would play on a chromatic?  Also, what things do you consider when deciding which axe to use on a tune?
