If was out of town and didn't get the news of Doug
Tate's passing until today.
I am very saddened at the news. He was a staunch
believer in the power of music and our harmonica
community. I've had some positive communication
with his wife Barbara since he took ill, and my
heart goes out to her during this time.
I will always remember Doug as a man of dignity,
passion and fabulous tone.
RIP, Mr. Tate
Harpin' in Colorado,
--Ken M.
