[Harp-L] Doug Tate

I, as a new guy to Harp-l, am drawn to Doug through everyone's comments and
reflections. My condolences to Doug's family, friends and to those of you on
the list who knew Doug so well. I've seen  a few Blues great that have
passed away and remembered on this list, but never have I seen so many
people from so many different walks of life paying tribute, not only to
Doug's playing ability and contributions, but also to a true friend,
companion, and teacher. I think Dennis Gruenling's quote will be etched in
my mind forever.

" I'm surprised the Good Lord was able to wait this long
to be in his company.."


Wish I could have met Doug.
