There are sometimes among us, those rare people who somehow are able to 
connect with everyone. Douglas Tate was one of those. As all the testimonials here 
show.
I feel fortunate to have known him. He was a gentleman in every sense, and a 
human being in all the important senses. My thoughts go out out to you, 
Bobbie. Maybe we can share a drink the next time we meet at one of the festivals.
