RE: [Harp-L] Nashville Next Week
Dan,
Can't go to Nashville without stopping by The Station Inn
www.stationinn.com and The Bluebird Cafe www.bluebirdcafe.com for a little
bluegrass and songwriter talent. There use to be a Sunday jam @ the
Parthenon .....later Steve

already tried to catch JR, but (duh) he's on tour. Any jams, or hip clubs
around the center of Nashville that are worthy of checking out? I don't
think I can handle a week of 100% pharmaceutical types.
You could check out B.B. Kings on 2nd Ave. North. Jimmy Hall of Wet
Willie fame is a regular there on Tuesday nights. He's the only harper I
know of who's playing downtown that week. Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie
Bar in Printer's Alley, also in the downtown area is worth
investigating. Since JR tours 300 + days a year, it's pretty hard to
catch him at home.
