Re: [Harp-L] Historical perspective of harp-l
Yeah!
Thanks for reminding me ;-)
It is actually the harp-l members who made this list survive. They wouldn't
give it up for anything. I know there are at least 200 members of this list
who were on long before I discovered it. Many more will come. The reason
why we have less list-members now than were counted in the past is simply
because we are more accurate. Blame that on fjm. He is so accurate it can
be creepy sometimes ;-). I actually think we have more active members at
this point than ever. The list volume is pretty high. We should check the
KB's to really judge.
Anyway, Harp-L is a great success due to such people as fjm, Ben Nathanson,
Bobbie Giordano, Danny Wilson, Jonas Karlsson and others. Even when we were
off the air, we never abandoned you because you never abandoned us. What a
group.

Rob P suggests we start planning for a 15th anniversary of the list. Guess
what we were doing on our 10th? We were off the air for a good 6 weeks
during that time frame. fjm
