I guess this is as good a time as any to clarify my situation. Some
might remember (fewer might care) that after losing my tech job in
Dallas last summer I turned to doing harp work full time. It didn't
exactly pay the rent, but maybe the electric bill, and it gave me a
lot of time at home with the kids.
Early this years I accepted a job in Austin and moved the family
back home, and myself back to a desk job. A number of people who
have orders currently with me have been waiting patiently for
delivery, as my schedule has slipped because of the move and the
much more limited amount of time I have for harp work now. In
addition, I've started playing more, both with folks at work, and
with an old friend in a jazz quartet.
I do plan to continue to take and fill orders as time allows, once I
get my queue cleared, though that will take several more weeks. For
folks who have current orders or have sent inquiries, please bear
with me. Once I get my studio unpacked and a more permanent work
space I'll be back to work more reliably.
Keep on harpin'
