[Harp-L] Full-Time Itinerant Harmonica Player...
Greetings Harp-L,
I?m a lurker these days but I thought I?d take a moment of your time for a
not-so-brief, but insane announcement..
I?ve quit my perfectly respectable and responsible job as Senior Network
Specialist for the H.J. Heinz Company (effective May 25th), leased out our
beautiful house in the country for at least a year (effective May 25th), and
have already moved my lovely (and also slightly insane) wife Sandra and our two
annoying dogs into a 33-foot motor home, to become an Full-Time Itinerant
Harmonica Player...
We?ve booked a series of music festivals, fairs, and trade shows throughout the
Northwestern USA and will also represent a number of small musical instrument
and accessory manufacturers to retail music stores as we travel through
different areas. To avoid blatant commercialism I will not list them here.
If you hail from the northwest and would like to be apprised of where we?ll be
and what we?re up to let me know and I?ll add your email address to my
shameless promotion list. I will also be using Danny Wilson?s valued services
on the gig list.
In the short term come say hi over the next few weeks at:
May 28, 29, 30?Sumpter Oregon
Memorial Day Celebration and Flea Market
365 SE Ash St, off Hwy 7, Sumpter, Oregon
June 4, 5 ? Lake Selmac, (outside of Cave Junction,) Oregon
Shining Stars Festival (http://www.shiningstarsfestival.com)
In addition to solo main stage performances, and guest appearances with some of
the awesome bands scheduled I will be presenting free harmonica workshops
throughout the weekend.
June 8th through June 15th
We?ll be having a series of yard sales to sell all the stuff that won?t fit in
the motor coach. Everything goes!
June 19th through June 25th?Weiser, Idaho
National Oldtime Fiddlers? Contest (http://www.fiddlecontest.com)
Two free Harmonica workshops, Several main stage solo shows, guest appearances
with the Steve Wall Band, and impromptu performances at ?The Institute? behind
Weiser High School where we will be set up as vendors of cool stuff.
After this, I?ll try to keep our itinerary current at
http://www.sonicbids.com/harmaniac and on Danny?s wonderful gig list.
Thanks for the bandwidth and if you?re anywhere in the northwest let me know. I
may be in you area soon.
Warmest Regards,
The Harmaniac? Dennis M. Cooper
