RE: [Harp-L] Cutting the strip of a Golden Melody

It seems to help with the responsiveness. I could be wrong because
I'm no expert at setting up harps. I'm afraid to wear out my 6yr old
Filiskos when I've been playing 4-5 nights per week so I feel forced
to make due with what is available at a moments notice. If I'm on
the road I don't have time to send a harp in for repair when I may
need it that night. As it is, I've been carrying three-four harp of
my important keys. G, Ab, Ab, Bb C.

I use my dremel tool to cut the strips out of the comb. then I use
plain old sand paper to finish the job. Don't ask what grit, it's
whatever I had in the garage from when I moved from MN to AZ.
