THE NEWS TRIBUNE
Last updated: May 13th, 2005 02:40 AM (PDT)
Harmonica music will set the tone for a lively daylong event Saturday at
the Lighthouse Senior Activity Center.
It's the 17th Annual Pacific Northwest Harmonica Jamboree, which will
feature performances by professional harmonica players, group jams,
play-along sessions for enthusiasts and workshops.
Several harmonica entertainers, including Vern Morgus of the Harmonicans,
will make mouth organ music during the main show at 1 p.m. The jamboree is
set to run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the center, 5016 A Street.
A $9 donation at the door will buy you a day filled with music, workshops
and a baked chicken lunch;
For more information or to make lunch reservations, call 253-591-5080.
