I'll admit it - I use a sniping program. But for a reason that hasn't been discussed much here:
with a sniping program YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND and withdraw your bid if you get cold feet or find
a better deal somewhere else. You can put in your bid a week before the auction ends and
withdraw your bid any time prior to the last few seconds of the auction. For that reason alone
sniping programs are essential to me.
