Original post asked about shops and also Jams/Clubs.
I've been to two blues jams in the Denver region. (my inlaws live in Superior)
-Oscar Blues in Lyons was pretty cool. Good room, nice guys, and decent gear. There was a pretty good crowd when I went, and apart from really noticing the lack of oxygen whilst blowing harp, I had a good time.
-There was another jam in Arvada (I think) I went to once a couple years back. At the time, it hadn't "taken off" yet. I was the only "jammer"
There's a CO blues society calendar that lists all the local blues happenings.
Hope this helps,
Dan G.
