Thanx Chris Mastakas and Ron B and JP for the warm words about the Dino BBQ
gig etc. The gig was a blast and they really did a nice job on the club up
in Harlem. I love those Ribs!,-)

    The menu and look of the club is consistent with the Original venues in
Syracuse and Rochester. The main difference tho is there's NO stage! They
moved away a large table and that became our stage,-)....I hope they will at
some point, "do the right thing" and allocate a bit more area for the MUSIC
which is suppose to be an integral part of the Dino BBQ experience!

  I'll be doing a DUO there on Wed. 5/18 and 6/15 with Jimmy Vivino who is
the Musical Director/Gtr for the Conan O'Brien Show. Jimmy is a very
talented Blues Player as well. I may play some Piano, Gtr and Bass on these
shows, I'm not sure as yet.....but I always bring my lickin' sticks!!,-)

If your in the Apple, take the A Train up to Sugar Hill! or better yet, the
1/9 to 125th St. (club is at 131st and 12thAve.)

     I'm hoping that Fri. 6/10 will be a special night... as Madcat Ruth is
coming thru NY en route to a festival in New England. I'm performing that
night at a club called THE CUTTING ROOM in NYC and I'd love to have Madcat
as a special guest, so I'll keep ya' posted on that end.

    If I have my dates right, Charlie Leighton is turning 85 this June,
wouldn't it be a blast if I could get him out for a lil' Birthday
tribute....maybe get him to play "Sophiscated Lady" with The Hudson River
Rats....we'll see...
then I'd really be on cloud 9!
