Fwd: [Harp-L] chromatic tone

When playing octaves on the chromatic you will not really escape that chrom
sound, but through tongue blocking on the chrom you achieve a pretty powerful
tone which sounds better played through a nice tube amp, also with the
chrom there is a big part your tongue has to play in shaping notes and for
accenting but also for creating great effects just check out william clarke's
recordings its all in there especially his live/bootleg stuff. But don't play to
hard as this will fatigue the chrom fast, more try to play louder through
blowing and drawing softer acoustically, its old advice but so very true!
