I don't have much in the way of first hand knowledge of Jeff Carp, but a way 
back I corresponded briefly with Stephen Schneider and I'll quote from that

Haven't heard much from Stephen lately ... Hi you out there?

If you're real serious, maybe Sam Lay would be a source for info. Hope this
