RE: [Harp-L] Question about doing overblow
Hello
I would propose two things:
-try reducing the gap of the draw reed.
-work on the resonance by practicing the blow bends on the high notes.
Actually, it is important to master them (at least hole 8 and 9) before
trying the overblows.
Hope this helps
Laurent

Objet?: [Harp-L] Question about doing overblow
I'm practicing overblow recently.
I got the doing tips from http://www.tenhole.com
I was somehow able to choke the blowing reed, but the
draw
reed just dont response, even if I use my finger to
force the blow reed stop and blowing all air through
the draw reed......
So I'm thinking whether there is anything wrong with
my techs or my harp need some change?
Thank anyone who answer me question ^_^
