Hi,
At the time those were recorded, those were ALL studio effects, and the
earliest the Echoplex was ever made was 1957 and those sides are several
years earlier and reverb was often feeding the sound from a pipe from the
amp into hard tiled bathroom with a mike at the other end. Outboard reverb
effects didn't hit the scene until around 1959 with the introduction of the
Premier 90. What does this mean?? Tone was his own, not from the effects.
Analog delays didn't hit the scene until the very late 60's and the digital
stuff about a decade later.
