I agree: do NOT ask to sit in with Little Charlie & the Nightcats. They don't need another
harmonica player on the stage no matter how good you may be. If you want to jam with Rick and
Little Charlie here's what you do: Book yourself a berth on the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise -
if the Nightcats get invited to perform again in 2006, and if 2006 is anything like 2005, you
will have all sorts of opportunities to jam in all sorts of situations ranging from private to
full-blown in front of a huge audience and everything in-between. You may even be able to wrangle
a private lesson out of Rick.
Or similarly, if you know Rick is going to attend SPAH, then be there!
