hi guys,
this isn't a specifically harp oriented question,
but i know some of you may be able to answer this
so... when Muddy, Jimmy Rogers, and Little Walter
played together, they were at one point know as the
"Headhunters" (or maybe it was "Headcutters"?) my
understanding is they would go from club to club in
Chicago, just three of them, and have cutting contests
with other bands. my question is, did they use the
house drums and bass, or did they just play in this
trio format? are there many recordings of them playing
this way (just the three of them)? did any other bands
use this kind of lineup?
thanks,
