After a quick lesson from another more accomplished harp player, I've tried setting up a couple of my own. The one set up for me is in Bb and player perfect. My first attempt was on a weak sounding A harp that always choked on me. I embossed, arced the reeds, and then gapped it the same as the Bb...plays much, much better. I went on to a C-harp...now the 3 draw bends seem impossible...it takes SO much air. Same with overblows...I can hear extra air escaping through the harp. Any suggestions??? The harp is still good and I'd like to get the 3 draw back into shape for sure.
Thanks,
Mike
