[Harp-L] Updated webpage with video...little old vs new harp

Hey Guys,

I am not a real frequent poster, but I've missed the last couple of weeks for my wedding/honeymoon. During that time, my newest musical project had their first full night gig. There is some video up on our webpage, and I'd love to hear some comments.

I totally agree that the players from generations ago had better constructed harps out of the box then we can buy now. I haven't bought a customized harp, but to each his own and I know that there isn't a harp I own that I haven't taken the covers off of...even before I learned to overblow. Tomorrow I am meeting up with Chris Michalek and hope to learn more about setting up harps. Heck, if my guitar player can take a half hour to string his guitar every couple of days, then I can tweak my axe too!

There was also a comment about age being a factor in just how good somebody can be. I am in my early 20's and have only been playing a couple years. It will be 20 more before I am where I want to be. However, there are many great players in their 30's...Jason Ricci, Chris Michalek, Dennis Gruenling can't be very "old"...I am sure I am missing a ton...including guys from the list, but you get my drift. I think it is more fair to say that time invested in the insturment is more important then years played.
