Hi all,
After listening to Dennis' excellent show last night I was impelled to revisit the Kid Ramos album "Greasy Kid Stuff".This album has some great players & tunes on it & is highly recommended to anyone, especially Chicago afficianados.
To anybody familiar with it ,could you please take a listen to" Marion's...." and maybe explain how Ric Estrin opens the tune.Literally the opening 2-3 notes have confounded me since I first heard it and continue to.
I can hear the tongue slaps ok and am reasonably adept at this technique but i just cant seem to get it.Perhaps its due to the amplification effect? Any advice /tab appreciated.
Thanks Sean.
