Technically it's stolen property but since the statute ran out you  
would not be in trouble for buying it. It's a mattter of ethics now.  
Is it right or not right to buy known stolen property?  If I had the  
money to buy it I would only do so to return it to the family.

Gabe contacted ebay to have it taken off but they said it was a civil  
matter and would not remove the sale.
