[Harp-L] Muting the harp

Concerning muting the harp, try this.  Use one of those sponge rubber/foam "Coozzies" that we put our cold canned drinks in.  There's a small hole in the bottom for adequate blowing/drawing, plus that hole can accomdate a mic cord for a different amplication.  One can't do the "wah-wah" very well but that's the trade off.
