I've met Shawn, so it is possible to catch him, but he's quick.  :-)  I got 
the impression that he's a quiet guy and likes to avoid the spotlight, at 
least when he's not onstage.  He is a phenomenal guitar player who at times 
reminds me of Trey Anastasio, but he seems primarily influenced by Stevie 
Ray Vaughn.  He sings like SRV, too.

While Shawn was basically
a phantom.  He almost magically appeared on stage, just in
time to play, then vanished afterwards, before the last note
stopped ringing.
