For those of you who are curious about what Al Eichler, editor/publisher of 
American Harmonica Newsmagazine, does in his spare time, the Battle Creek

Like many veterans, he's drawn to symbols such as the barrel-chested eagle. 
In his woodshed, he makes two types: One a small eaglet to perch atop 
mailboxes, and another a large, shield-bearing eagle. ... 
He's sold about 20 of the big eagles over the past three years. Money from 
the eagles' sales goes toward supporting Eichler's other hobby, the 
self-published harmonica fanzine American Harmonica, which had taken a precipitous sales 
drop from 1,000 to 500. Ideally, the eagle money will help him break even. ...
